I am a technologist, essayist, scholar, and statistician whose areas of interest include machine learning, computer science, economics, psychology, randomness, probability, and uncertainty. I work at Apple where I manage teams of software engineers in service of machine learning projects to help improve Apple’s products and operations. I maintain this blog as an area where I can engage with various areas of interest in support of my personal research projects. I live with my spouse (Torri), and sometimes our now mostly grown three children, and our two dogs in California’s Silicon Valley.
